Perfect cozy cabin for our stay! There was plenty of room for all of us. We loved the area and check in and check out were easy. Whitecaps Pizza is delicious!

Rhaposdy Lodge was the perfect stay for our family of 6 during 4th of July weekend. The house is located just a 4 minute drive from the busy Kings Beach area, but in a much more peaceful area. We were able to easily drive down to grocery stores, shops, activities, but come back to the quiet neighborhood. The beach just a 6 minute walk away is great and has kayaking/paddleboarding/swimming, and we found ourselves there everyday.
The house itself is fully stocked with anything needed! The kitchen had a wide variety of everything for us to make some fantastic dinners using the grill! The house is also very spacious, making sure everyone has enough space without feeling crammed.
Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back to the north side of Tahoe soon!

Gary’s home was wonderful, from the start, check-in was easy and cleaning was visibly held to a high standard. The house was stocked with everything we needed and everything mentioned worked as intended. The location and neighborhood are great and would stay again without a doubt!

This place was amazing, definitely would stay here again, very close to the lake and stores. Supplied more than what I thought, instructions were clear and we enjoyed everything. Gary communicated quickly and he’s very friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

Gary was incredibly kind and responsive. We really appreciated how communicative and proactive he was to help ensure we had the best stay possible. However, we were really surprised to find mouse droppings on the sheets and covers of all 4 beds upon arrival. This is unsanitary and a serious health risk. Gary was quick to help us fix the problem - he immediately called cleaners and pest control to mend the situation and made sure we were compensated fairly. The situation was a lot better the next day, but we still found mouse droppings on the covers of one of the beds, so the cleaning was not as thorough as it should have been. I've spoken to Gary and they are in the process of exterminating the mice, so I believe the issue should be solved now, but wanted to share my experience to alert future travelers just in case. Overall, Gary was an excellent host and the Airbnb felt cozy and homey, so would recommend this place once the problem is fixed.

When these guests were sent a full refund and departed: (1) our licensed cleaning crew did a "deep clean" of the house. They found no droppings anywhere. (2) our licensed pest control company set ten traps strategically throughout the house and after three days they were still empty. We pride ourselves and our home being perfect for guests. This sort of incident, in our twenty years of hosting, never happened before. The guests who stayed the next weekend found the place wonderful.

Our family had a great time for New Years at Gary’s Rhapsody lake house. 15 min to Northstar where we spent a most days, but evenings felt at home at Gary’s house with lots of personal touches in the interior to make it feel like a true lake cabin. Loved the location and the cabin vibes. Will be back next year!!!

Our family had an amazing stay here! There was space for everyone and fun games to enjoy. We went sledding and hiked at the local hiking trail. A couple of our family members who had dust allergies had those triggered a little, but it may have been combined with the altitude also. The cabin is adorably decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. We had an amazing time and hope to come again.

Wow! This is the perfect house for a family or friend’s trip. I stayed with two other friends from Sacramento and thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue and hot tub. We had two other groups of friends staying at nearby airbnb’s and they all agreed that this one was the best option! We enjoyed all of the space outdoors and the garage is full of awesome games. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Lake Tahoe and hope to visit with family when they visit me from southern california. Please take care of this beautiful home if you plan yo visit because it is clear that it has been decorated and treated with much love and respect.
